A leading law firm is seeking an experienced IT Desktop Support Technician to provide Desktop & Server Administration to multiple locations. The ideal candidate have experience managing desktops, troubleshooting issues, and diagnosing technical and connection problems.
- Salary + Additional Benefits:
- $20.00-$25.00/hr DOE

Location: Central Houston, TX
Type of Position: Temp-to-Hire
Responsibilities:
- Provide prompt and professional technical support to end users
- Set up new employees (access cards, phone, computer, applications).
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical and connections issues
- Install, upgrade and troubleshoot desktop operating systems and applications
- Maintain and manage desktops and network printer and resolve basic issues
- Advise on software/hardware upgrades
- Provide back-up support to the Mail and File rooms.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a Desktop Support Technician
- Associates degree in Computer Science or Information Technology required
- Comptia A+
- Network +
- AV monitoring & remediation, through familiarity with MS Windows, OS and office productivity suite
- Ability to Troubleshoot Hardware, Software, OS issues on company desktops/laptops, Printer issues, VPN issues
- Valid Driver’s License with the flexibility to travel as needed.
- Advanced knowledge of computer hardware, chipsets, memory modules and peripherals.
- Knowledge of modern operations systems., software applications and remote access systems.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
